Creating a visual identity for the upcoming season of Maribor Puppet Theatre titled “Tok, tok - le naprej!” which translates to “Knock, Knock - Come on In” is an exciting endeavor that aims to capture the whimsical and inviting nature of this enchanting art form and the institution itself. Their public has a wide age range - prom the little ones (1+) up to the early teens (15+) so it needed to communicate something playful and fun but still remain in the realms of conventional theatrical output. That’s why visuals revolve around a playful and vibrant color palette, incorporating warm and welcoming tones to evoke a sense of curiosity and anticipation while the choice of typography is very classic and unobtrusive.
